Dearest Light Flight

How is our auntie Glitter? We hope she's doing well and that she'll perhaps pay a quick visit to Droolmom if she should find the time. We've got the cookies baking in preparation to receive her warmly in our midst. Speaking of cookies...

You're probably wondering how your old flight mates are doing in their new surroundings. Apart from the usual bumping into trees in the dark they are doing wonderful. It will take them a while to navigate in the dark, and our Haunted House seems to be giving everyone a run for their money! Some of the Light dragons seemed to think matters could be improved by placing the glowshrooms in strategic places, nearly spoiling some of our spookier surprises. It's taken quite a bit of dissuading to make them give up the practice.

Recently they've been experimenting with making new sorts of tea. As their chosen guide during their setling in period, I've also been made to drink the most tea. It's not... bad. They're quite mysterious about their ingredients however, and refuse to share the contents until they've made the perfect tea according to the ancient manuscripts some of them brought with them.
Actually, this letter is partly a query to inform myself. You don't think they're making... well... tea that would turn me glittery? I'm not sure I'd do all that well doused in glitter.

They're making the tea in hopes of hosting a small party for everyone after their Haunted House trips. Let's just hope there won't be any aftereffects

Okay, I admit it, I'm terrified. I've been in Shadow for so long, I can't imagine what they're up to. I almost feel like hiding out in the Haunted House until this all blows over. Actually, you know what? That's exactly what I'll do. If anyone should need me, I'll be hiding in there.

Greetings Light Flight!

I hope you've all been enjoying the festival as much as Shadow has! Nothing makes me happy like Pinecones hidden in the shadows, waiting to be found and taken home as souvenirs remembering this most shady of times.

Oh, my predecessor you ask? Don't worry about them too much, they are doing fine. They're just a bit... glowy. It turns out the secret ingredients in the tea your flight mates made were glowshrooms and glowflies. I also heard rumors about some Arcane tea plants thrown in according to an old recipe. When I asked as to the purpose of their tea, I was told that it was meant to brighten any dark day.

Judging from the way my friend now glows every time they hiccup, I dare say it was a smashing succes.

Everyone has settled in nicely and the brightness of Light adds a lovely dimension to the beautiful dark shades that are dominant in this area. We can't have Shadows without a bit of Light after all!

The haunted house became a bit less scary after the intervention of the new Light dragons, though it only was for the best. Sometimes it's hard to find a balance and our pranks might have been a bit much for others who aren't used to such shenanigans.

Please tell auntie Glitter that we're keeping the Haunted House around for when she decides to visit. And once she's gone through it, delicious glowing tea and shadowy cookies await her to conclude the festival in style.
