The tiny Fae dragon Rinus was the first to join Galeca in the formation of her clan, and to this day he stays by her side in every respect. He hits hard in combat but cannot sustain a lot of damage in battle, so he often has to retreat long before his partner Galeca does. Though his magic power is substantial, his attention span is not, so he often approaches both battle and life with little strategy.

One day, travelers from an ancient but friendly Wind clan made their way through the Canyon while it's community was extremely young. Two dragons from this clan, a dark-colored Skydancer named Samon and a bright green Imperial named Shanouk, decided to stay for a spell and teach a different set of newcomers, Magicant and Neonel the ways of their combat techniques.

Their fighting prowess would be revelatory to the growing clan, such that the travelers' teachings would rapidly spread throughout it's permanent residents and newcomers alike. Ever since the warriors' excursion here, the society's values have been changed, and nearly all of the community eventually learns to be proficient in combat. Since this change, Rinus was glad to be less active in battle, and in fact now avoids strife entirely as long as he can help it.

Rinus is still considered the 'father' of the clan as he was the first to join Galeca upon discovering her charge, but he is quite lazy and doesn't care for his high position, nor does he attempt to govern the clan in any way. He's a friendly guy and gets excited when newcomers are welcomed into the clan, but he is always wandering off into forests and exploring by himself. He'll come back after days with small trinkets and flowers, some of which he gifts to his mate, some of which he adds to his own collection. He always brings back as much as he can carry, which isn't much because he is so small.

While fighting against the Beastclans he took quite a hard hit to his left eye, and has had troubles with his vision ever since. He wears corrective glasses like Galeca, but he doesn't let his impairment affect his love of exploring. When he isn't out gathering small things, he might be found reading old scriptures in the pair's cave, or simply perched upon Galeca's horns.
