This particular dragon was born as Emberwrath in a Fire Flight clan. It didn't take very long for her parents to realize she was...different. The young hatchling was having dreams and visions of things she couldn't possibly know of. One reoccurring vision was one of a clan, different from her own, that was being watched over by the Windsinger. Now, her parents were not religious, and they forbid her to tell anyone of her dreams, but eventually the visions were too much for her to handle. She ran away from her clan and family in search of the clan of her vision, knowing they would no doubt be on the Windswept Plateau.

During her journey, the young dragon saw many new visions as she drew nearer and nearer to the clan she dreamed of. One of them included the Windsinger addressing her directly, telling her that he had chosen her to be one of his oracles to speak his words to other dragons. He also gave her a new name - Elwyn. So Elwyn, following the Windsinger's guidance, eventually found the clan she was destined to be with, and was accepted with open arms due to the Windsinger's blessing.

Elwyn is a peculiar dragon. With her visions, she often tends to break off mid-conversation to speak with the Windsinger. More often than not for a good half hour after an intense dream, she will only speak in riddles or just plain jibberish until she can control her thoughts properly. Still, she loves her clan and only wants the best for whoever ends up in her visions. She enjoys the company of most of her clanmates, but specifically the mate the Wingsinger chose for her, Tevorre.
