Biography

"Why hello there little one, welcome to the world."

Whenever a nest of eggs is just about ready to hatch, Amazonia always seems to be the first one to know. Welcoming new life into this world is her absolute favorite experience, and she's been present for every single hatching we've had in this clan since she joined. Seeing the little dragons curiously peek out of the shells of their eggs, blinking at the bright light and slowly taking their first wobbly steps in this world, there is no greater joy for her.

Many dragons consider Amazonia something of a midwife. Whenever a nest is laid, she makes sure that the conditions are just right for the eggs, from the padding of the nest, to the amount of sun and shade the little buds will get over the coming days. Sometimes, she seems to be a lot more involved than the dragons that originally laid the nest even.

When not patrolling the nesting grounds, she's a quiet, but fierce soul. She usually lets herself be carried around by her trusty familiar, going out on hunts and bringing back her spoils to add to our hoard. She and Charon have a particularly odd relationship, with no one being quite sure if Amazonia detests him, or is entirely smitten with him. For as many gifts as she brings the terrifying Fae, she always seems to keep her distance whenever she does have his attention. No one can make heads or tails of it.

A cute little jungle baby! I'll admit, I don't particularly enjoy the Smirch covering this lady's wings, but it gives her a nice Stained look to her Jaguar. I love her little snakes; especially the corn snake peeking above her frills! The scry beneath is the killer, though... Seafoam Capsule looks like a snazzy version of underbelly, and it doesn't clutter the wings.

Amazonia has such an interesting color combination! I really love how her spinner shifts from red to green and how well her eyes match. I think her scry is really pretty (it gives her a more subtle look than her current one) but I also think the brighter greens in her accent and apparel look lovely against the dark red of her secondary.

Amazonia has a beautiful name and her apparel goes so well with that accent! I love the reds and greens ^.^

And finally, I love Amazonia. She's such a precious and well made gen 1 that I don't even know where to begin. First off, the Dryad's Guise + the Shallow Breeze accent? Harvard worthy thinking. The windy accent of the gust birds flying really makes it seem like they're coming out of the guise, and gives her this nature nymph type feel. Also loves the snakes on her, I can tell she adores animals and I see her as some sort of deity of nature - overall elegant and mystical.

Another well-balanced study in contrasts. Green is her dominant color, but the orange/reds in her secondary and eyes gives a great effect. I also like the softer greens brought out by the jaguar gene, which works very well with her accent and apparel, especially the way the dryad's guise fades at the tail.

Amazonia's accent is lovely, and she gives off forest sprite energy. Faes are small, and I imagine she's the type to ride around on her larger companion's shoulders. She has a light, breezy voice, and a talent for swift and graceful flying. I imagine she's very in tune with her surroundings, so much so that she sometimes gets migraines from the constant voices of nature. She seems to have many friends who treat her like royalty. No one ever forgets to invite her to parties, she's so beloved. She probably smells like maple leaves and honeysuckle.
Here's a song that makes me think of her.
