Sangre was a refugee from a dying ice clan, brought in by Liraz, who found the young dragon wandering, alone and cold. It didn't take long to figure out that this little red dragon was blind, though initially their white coloration was assumed to just be the result of being born in ice territory. She didn't track anything with her sight, and for a while, it was thought that she may have been deaf, too, as she gave few responses to the coos and mutters of other dragons and wouldn't speak herself. However, as she adjusted to her new clan, she began to interact and even smiled once in a while. Sangre is still quiet and shy, and takes a while to warm up to new people, but she's much friendlier than she looks once she's familiar with someone. Because Sangre is blind, her hearing is rather enhanced in compensation. She can hear small clicks and steps much louder than she would be able to otherwise, and is able to navigate her surroundings, at least those familiar, better than many dragons with sight. Foreign territory is a bit more difficult, but she knows how to feel her way around quietly and isn't prone to tripping. Which makes her perfect for her job. You see, Sangre is what she likes to call a "retributionist." When someone harms her or a member of her clan, or makes plans to do so, she waits until it's dark and... persuades them not to. Usually with force. Nobody sees or hears her coming until she wants them to. She doesn't kill, no, but she is definitely not opposed to doing what it takes to make them repent or at least receive a proportionate punishment to their crime. Her blind eyes, soft manner of speaking, and softly glowing clawtips make her quite the terrifying spectre in the dead of night. Despite her unusual position, Sangre really isn't mean. She just has a strong belief in karma. For those that do good by her, she is a loyal ally and friend, and while she can be scary when she's mad, she's not isolated or outcast by those around her. She loves to play around with Hazael and the hatchlings he watches, often pretending to be the big, scary villain who's vnquished at the end of their make-believe sessions. She and Veda even engage in a completely awkward but nonetheless loving relationship, though they're both quiet, shy types and get flustered when they try to express their feelings or make romantic gestures. |

Her name is based on the spanish word for blood, but pronounced differently. "Song'-guhr" rather than "sahn-gray." Her name was also inspired by Oh Sangwoo because I'm trash.
