MATRIARCH

Azkadellia is the matriarch of the Hodgepodge--a name that all those under her care have come to affectionately call their little clan. She's both the stereotypical Fae and not. Most dragons find her hard to talk to and think her standoffish due to her naturally monotonous voice and she has to think long and hard about the intents of non-Fae when conversing. That's why she loves Galaktikos, who helps her read the emotions and intents of dragons unknown to the clan.

Azzy is a caring Fae and tries to overcome the awkward social barriers between herself and other types of dragons. She's had the Skydancers try to teach her how to inflect. She emphatically uses voice inflections when speaking to her clan, but her voice often cracks. The rest of the clan have playfully called any unexpected voice cracking among them "Azzyisms."

Azkadellia was born and spent much of her life as a Guardian. She never truly found a charge, although took very good care of any dragon that needed a home, and thus became the leader of the Hodgepodge with a fae named Magnetar. The Shadowbinder unexpectedly turned her attention on her one day and decided to 'relieve her' of the burden of being chargeless. She turned her into a Fae to match Magentar. Eventually, Magnetar went to serve the Shadowbinder, who months later sent an old friend back from her service.
