Biography
Sun peak began with two founders: Sunstreak and a mirror whom will remain unnamed. After being graciously given land by the sundial terrace and provisions by the Lightweaver, the naive and young couple settled down happily, their lair perched lightly upon a dozen pearly white columns packed closely together. But as night came and shadows grew, the pair went to sleep peacefully. But when Sunstreak awoke, the female mirror was gone, and all that he found in her place was her essence; the physical embodiment of her spirit. Believing her dead, Sunstreak cried into the night sky, grieving his loss. He let out a splitting shriek, wailing to the stars. The Lightweaver, awoken by the sound of her light child in pain, came to their lair to see the cause of the pain. What she found shocked her.
The Lightweaver never interfered directly with her children’s issues, but she took pity on the saddened fae. She knew she couldn’t bring the mirror back for Sunstreak, for she was...beyond the Lightweaver’s power, but felt within her it was not this clan’s time to die out. Using the essence in the air, she transformed the material into a dragon; one of the ones she had created herself. A pearlcatcher appeared from the essence, a full grown one of dark blue hues, light blue streaks like a star shower covering his body. A white pearl appeared in his talons. His eyes were the only confusing part about him. They were blue, like a son of the Tidelord.
But the Lightweaver wasn’t done. She also summoned another pearlcatcher, one who was unhappy with her old life, for most of her children had been taken away from her to be given or exalted. This one was light gold and white in color, with spots rather than streaks on her body. But her eyes were those representing the ocean, not the light. And here, in Sunstreak's very lair, did his clan's legacy begin.
After the tragic break of Supeak, and Sunstreak's fall, the clan broke from the strain, and most of it's members left to serve the Lightweaver, Starstreak and his partner fled here instead.
