Few people within the Wyrmhaven Scientific Department can claim to know anything about Dr. Zephyrus Weiss of the Alchemical Division beyond his name and general disposition. Known as an aloof- and rather intimidating- character, most folk do well to keep to themselves around him, as his glare is known to rival that of a basilisk's- in that most wither under it. For all his reputation, however, Dr. Weiss is a talented alchemist. His studies have, of course, covered the broader strokes of alchemy, but his talent- and passion- lies in the creation of homunculi- artificial life. It's that talent that landed him a seat as one of the head researchers for Project: DEVOUR- a title he shares with his husband and resident demonologist, Dr. Arioche Gris.

Outside of the workplace, Weiss is a naturally quiet man who prefers to spend his free time reading- usually furthering his alchemical studies, or flipping through some ancient demonic tome Gris brought home last week. His time spent with Gris is of great importance to him, since their schedules rarely line up these days. Other folks put on Project: DEVOUR who have worked with Weiss in the past have noted that he seems much happier getting to work with Gris. Or perhaps he's simply enjoying his work this time. Nobody but Gris can really say for sure.
