Biography

HERA | GODDESS OF WOMEN AND MARRIAGE | CLAN LEADER

For all her love of knowledge and history, Hera's own background is surprisingly hazy. She has no memory of her birth-clan, and only the hue of her eyes signify where she might have once called home. It is perhaps this very fact that caused Hera to begin recording all births, departures, and important events pertaining to Parthenon Hill. Her fierce patriotism and love of knowledge make Hera the perfect leader for her clan, a title that she wears with pride and dignity.

Though she is not the eldest dragon on Parthenon Hill, Hera takes full responsibility for the actions of younger, inexperienced members of the clan, and keeps an eye on all who may have a tendency to cause trouble. She shares this duty with her most trusted friend Dionysus, with whom she now has a strong intellectual and emotional connection. After the departure of Elliot, Hera had not only lost her co-leader, but her friend and confidant; though she understood and respected his decision, she could not help but feel as though a part of her left with Elliot. If it had not been for Dionysus' willingness to step in and assist with clan duties, Hera would not have been able to provide for the dragons of Parthenon Hill in the ways they needed most.

Despite the difficulties of her position, Hera genuinely cares deeply about every dragon that has chosen to make their home on Parthenon Hill. She ensures that every family has the necessary room to grow, and that dragons who wish to contribute to clan duties have the opportunity to do so. Every member of the clan would agree that Hera is more than capable of leadership, and are thankful that she puts their well-being before her own.
