Eons have passed.
The skies change all at once and not at all in a glimmering aurora of colour and contrast, dark and then light.
And yet to those sleeping, they know of only the gentle darkness inside the deep, the warm shadow that has crept delicately into their hearts, soothing hurts that do not heal into the languid embrace of umbral sleep.
He was there when the first progenitor walked to these lands, and he will be here when they leave in a dance of fire and wroth.
And whilst it might seem as though he is completely gone, like leaves in the winds that grace the warm cliffmarket above, he whispers to the seers in the clan, in dreams and nightmares alike. His presence is one of calm wisdom, of the sun on your back and the breeze under your wings.
