Canary

Canary's egg was discovered by two Spirals named Aloe and Rose as they were scavenging in the ruins of a destroyed clan. Seeing that no one was around they took the egg to raise as their own. Many days the two dragons tended to the egg and kept it warm within their coils, and soon it hatched into the little golden fae that is Canary. He did not receive much attention as a hatchling because of his adopted parents' role as hunters and warriors, so he spent his time studying and reading to fill the gap that his parents would have filled. He soon became the accountant/treasurer of the clan after attracting the attention of Queen Cordial who recognized his talented mind. His work engulfed him completely until he met a young passerby named Au who shared his interest in knowledge. The two soon fell in love and Au found herself with three eggs she wasn't ready for. Au blamed Canary for the eggs and claimed that she never wanted them, and when they hatched, she left the clan and took the hatchlings with her without saying goodbye. Canary sunk back into his work and is often seen gazing longingly at the nesting grounds, perhaps wishing for another chance to start again.
