AURYX, PROGEN CLAN MATRIARCH.
enjoys sleeping, tending after hatchlings, and dislikes the sun.

When Auryx hatched, she hatched alone, an abandoned
egg on the very fringes of the Wandering Contagion.
Death was mere inches away, her egg caught in a lucky
dip of the Scarred Wasteland, too close to tumbling into
the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
Even without such a danger so early in life, it's a wonder
a dragon of another kind hadn't found her first. Abandoned
eggs scarcely survive, Plague eggs even less. To compare a
Plague hatchling to that of an oversized parasite wouldn't be
inaccurate, after all.
Hence why when she hatched, she cried, early eyes unable
to open, underdeveloped wings still slick with albumen.
She was hungry and she was lonely, but there was no-one
to hear her mewls except for the Plaguebringer herself.
However, like all Plague dragons eventually,
she learned how to fend for herself.
