Phoebe The Diviner |

Phoebe made her way to this clan from the dry Shifting Expanse. She has always been one to follow whims and leave her fate to the gods. Despite being a lightning dragon, Phoebe has always been in tune with the higher powers. She is often surrounded by her cards and dragons who wish to know what their fates hold. Phoebe never understood the desire to know one's fate, but she was always willing to indulge her fellow dragons. When she came to this clan, Phoebe became quick friends with Celestine. She taught Celestine how to use divination. The two enjoy spending their time together consulting the cards as well as checking up on the other members of the clan. She has a deep love for her children, Romeo and Juliet, though she shows it in odd ways. She often gifts them crystals empowered with positive energy for good fortune. Her children, however, did not take after her keen sense for mystical powers and cannot tell that these gifts are infused with Phoebe's own magic. |
Despite her deep love for her children, Phoebe is not as fond of their father, Ellisella. They met because Phoebe was curious about the fish that always surround Ellisella. After meeting with him and talking, she became intrigued by his lack of desire to know the future. "Whatever may come, the world will keep moving forward," he would tell her, and her curiosity for him grew more. Ellisella, the cold and collected dragon, and Phoebe, the distant diviner, became a common pair. It was when Romeo and Juliet were born that they separated. Ellisella, who had no desire for children, told Phoebe that she would be on her own with the twins. He told her that a father who doesn't care is worse than no father at all. This infuriated Phoebe, and she cursed him to have many children but none who cared for him. It was the most emotion that anyone had seen Phoebe show at one time. He took her curse and left. The two rarely speak anymore, and they're hostile when they're forced to. |
Flying on the Winds of Fate

Phoebe has never been known to stay in one place for long. She flies on the winds of fate to wherever they may carry her. No one in the clan is certain whether she will be there come the next morning, but most hope that she will stay another day. Her children in particular, who have only her as family, want for her to stay with them. Phoebe's love for them is currently what keeps her in the clan. She believes that, for now, her fate is to stay here with them. |
