T'Iserogak are a superstitious lot when it comes to pale colored hatchlings, and Ruithil's parents were no different. When his mother saw his "sickly" color combined with the blood red of his wings and markings, she expelled him from the nest without hesitation. Cast out to fend for himself in the Scarred Wastelands, a newborn hatchling wouldn't have survived, save for the unforeseen chance that his parents had nested quite close to the border between the realms of the Plaguebringer and the Windsinger. He had wandered quite far, and had grown considerably weak, when he found himself in the grasses of a pillar in the Reedcleft Ascent. His bright red wings stood out like a beacon, and Mesalajel caught sight of him while she was foraging for her clan, and brought him home with her.

Like many other outcasts, Ruithil found his way into the lair of the Loresingers, where he has been welcomed with open and unjudgmental arms.

Growing up, Ruithil is proving to be quite eccentric, with a curiosity for anything that is odd or unique. He collects items based on the intriguing stories attached to them rather than any other tangible connection, and hoards some of the most frivolous (or equally mundane) items imaginable.

He is a quiet dagen, taking after his foster Osidroc parents, and often surprises others when he suddenly replies to a conversation that he appears to not be paying attention to at all.
