Chatham is a big, brutal, ferocious imp. He gets his fighting skill from his parents. The curse of the shade was passed onto him from his mother, Deamia. As a hatchling, his nestmates were scared of Chatham because of his size and intimidating appearance. This behavior only intensified as he matured, which led Chatham to find a place where his talents could be put to use.

He found a band of Mirrors that were skilled in combat. He joined their ranks and learned their savage ways of combat. Chatham stayed with the mirrors for years, training and training until he had become a formidable warrior. The imp left the Mirrors, but couldn't find any group that wanted him to fight for them. Dragons were still terrified of the imp, and thought he might turn on his fellow warriors. It soon felt like all hope was lost, until he encountered a mysterious Skydancer in the shadows of the Tangled Wood...

These days, Chatham resides in Perfide Clan with his mate, Pectoris. The Skydancer adores the Imperial's ferocity, and finds him all the more useful in her future plans. She's also one of the few dragons that isn't utterly terrifed of the dragon, which has allowed Chatham and Pectoris to form a deep bond. The duo came to Perfide Clan together, and Nightshade has allowed both of them to stay. It's no secret what their endgame is, but Nightshade believes that their plans of conquest will never come to fruition and therefore lets them stay.
