______ "How quaint," a raspy voice sounds."He thinks he is alone. Your ignorance of this land will kill you, small one." Rahoul turns around quickly, scanning the darkness surrounding him.
"Hey!! Who's there?!I'm not that small!! " Rahoul yells in the direction of the voice.
"Wh-What...?" The voice says again, unsure of itself. He had not absorbed any sort of magic to reveal himself. How could this dragon sense him?"Yo-You can hear me!?" A shape melts away from the darkness, forming the shape of a dragon. Multiple sets of eyes open and close in surprise.
"Yeah, I can. I have ears, jerk". The blue dragon says in response."You can at least introduce yourself before talking down to me".

______ Arrow was a scholar who lived within the Hewn city. One day, he disappeared along with his partner, and was never seen again. Until now. During his investigations into the city, he was swallowed into the shade, his partner leaving him for dead. Instead of dying however, he gained its power, and its curse. When he awoke, he realized no one could see him, and that he was abandoned by his friend. He was only a ghost of who he used to be. In his anger against his partner for betraying him, he sought him out, killing him with his new found powers. He then left the sunbeam ruins, and roamed on his own until he found Rahoul, the only one who could see him. Before meeting Rahoul, he was sadistic towards others, and often pitied his situation. After meeting Rahoul, he has become kinder, and more like his old self. He can absorb the life energy (or magic) of others, and becomes noticeable to others if he drains enough energy from the objects, and creatures around him. This usually ends with unnecessary death, which Rahoul hates, so he avoids it if he can.
