He's as quiet and mysterious as they come. Most mistake him for a shadow dragon, which is ultimately his end goal.
The cowl hides his eyes, but his true personality is given away by the terrible wrapping of his extremities in order to hide his multitude of plague marks.
You see, he has what you might call "middle school syndrome."
Simply, he acts cooler than he is.
He believes that he has a great destiny, that one day he will face a great foe and vanquish evil from the planet. He only tries to hide his identity so that he can have a secret, which of course, all heroes do. Maybe it's a mixture of the red eyes and watching too much anime.
Rin originally called him Gloomy due to his outward dark nature, but later changed it to Gloom when he realized his true personality and figured he would be happier and more confident without the feminine "y".
It's a complicated matter. Just roll with it.
Gloom is the 14th member.
