Frostburn

She was known as the "Ice Queen". Favorite dancer and mistress of the clans old patriarch. She used to parade around the lair, clothed in the most beautiful dresses, her body reflecting the light like icecrystals in the winter sun. Always followed by those young dragons who envied her, who dreamed they could one day become like her.
But there is another reason she was called the ice queen. She was cold, ice cold. She did not care for the younger dancers, even sabotaging and bullying them and always making sure noone would dare to climb her throne.

Because of her position she could get away with almost everything, but she went to far. She made one to many enemys.

One day, a young dancer, perhaps more talented than she ever was, was dancing for the patriarch. The ice queen saw the lust in his eyes. This dragon was many years younger than she was, and she began to fear for her place. That night the young dancer had an accident that would make her unable to dance, and everyone knew. She did not have to hide it. It was a warning to all the other dancers.

Weeks later, when she laid with the old patriarch, she touched his wing and it instantly froze. Terror apeared on his face, as the ice began to spread across the body. She watched in horror, unable to help. It took only minutes until he was completly frozen,

The young dragon has asked an old witch to curse her. Every living thing she touches will turn to ice. When the guards discovered the body, she had fled. Knowing that she could never return, she roamed the lands, alone, unable to ever get close to another dragon again.

Until she was spotted wandering the boneyard by the scouts. When Leatherwing heard of her conditions, she was intrigued and asked her to live with the clan so she could study the curse and it's effects. Of course there would be precautions, but she would not be alone any longer. Maybe Leatherwing would one day even be able to break the curse.
