Barboa is a wild and unfriendly snapper, whose only saving grace in the clan is his mate SwampSpirit. While she is easygoing and loves everyone, he's uptight and hates everyone. Well, not hates, but he is very territorial unlike most snappers and prefers no one else but his family comes into his space. But it's not exactly a luxury hotel, so there's often lots of other dragons going in and out of the area, so he just has to deal with it. His older son Glyph is a lot like him, and he's very close with him. The two of them together against an unfamiliar dragon is a nightmare for the unfamiliar dragon. He also close with his son GoldenGator, but doesn't understand his easygoing nature.
