Personality
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Remorse is serious, duty-driven and loyal to the Imperators. He's an expert in countless types of combat, is an expert strategist, and should probably be classified as a deadly weapon himself- never mind the sword he carries. While he's not exactly mysterious or unknowable, there's still not many dragons who know him completely. Perhaps the only one who really knows Remorse is Sicarius, but their relationship is a secret anyway. It wouldn't look good if a member of the Monochromaticae was discovered to be having an affair with his own subordinate. That would be playing favorites. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Remorse was one of the first dragons to arrive at the Spectral Bastion after Onikisu and Shiro. He came from a mountain-dwelling clan of warriors, learning all they knew before setting out on his own quest to find a new clan. During his journey, he did his best not to get involved with many other dragons. Until he found the right clan, he wouldn't make any connections to anyone. Still, trouble seemed to follow him. His quiet and slightly uptight attitude made him an easy target for bar fights and being jumped in back alleys, and even though it was easy for him to win fights, they still got him in trouble. No matter where he went, he was hunted by gangs seeking revenge or the law trying to lock him away for multiple crimes he never wanted to commit. He didn't want to have to turn to the Spectral Bastion for shelter. He wanted to find a proper clan, one he could help and be a good influence on- not this rain-soaked island of criminals with two other dragons. Even so, he stayed. Where else could he go? It took a while, but he eventually warmed up to Shiro and Onikisu. Maybe staying here wasn't so terrible. He was a part of something now- it didn't matter if that something was a little bit illegal. Well, more than a little bit illegal. But he had a home now, and that was all that mattered. |
