Uh-oh, looks like this lil pearl wandered a little too far from her home lair (291935, Nightfleet), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Mulderyes: PearlDreamer wandered through the barren lands, hazy and not quite sure where she was going. All that she remembered was that she was supposed to go....somewhere? Nothing had been clear to the seer. All that she had were a few items in her pack, and her pet chameleon, Lucy.

After a while, she reached a spacious den that was surrounded by bubbling liquid. "Hello?"
She called out, hoping that there were some friendly dragons in the den. She was greeted by a group of dragons, who chatted to her asking about where she came from. "I'm not sure," She said, "I don't really remember that much." All that she knew was that plague felt a bit like home.
The dragons brought her inside, where their leader, Dexter, met with her.

"The others told me that you are a seer. Can you see into the future?" He asked her. Dexter's clan was known for taking in dragons that would be considered strange, and the group was made into several smaller ones as a result.

"I can a bit if I concentrate," PearlDreamer admitted. Dexter nodded.

"You can stay for now. If you want to stay longer than a few days, we will set you up an area. For now, I'll have Emberstrike take you to your temporary home.

PearlDreamer followed the mirror and laid out her pack. She wasn't planning on staying for too long. The clan was kind enough, but she had a feeling this wasn't really where she was supposed to be staying. She had decided that she would leave in the morning, after eating and getting a good nights sleep.

PearlDreamer moved her pearl between her front paws as she flew out of the Plague Flight territory and into the vast plains of the WindSingers land. The orb felt like cotton in her claws as she ran them over it, feeling the familiar beat and hum of imbued power. It seemed to glow brighter than usual that day, possibly due to her excitement. Pearl had heard many tales about the calm yet unpredictable Wind Flight, tales that she was anxious to see proven to be true. She sighed in the crisp, pleasant air. Already, she felt at peace, even though she had yet to enter the full force of the gusts. Her desired destination was the Twisting Cresendo, a medley of colour and hurricane breezes, a place to truly put her aerobatic abilities to the test. Already, she practised the wing movements she had picked up from Wind Flight travellers, tilting her wings like waves to ride with the wind. It felt stabge at first as her wing tips dipped up and down, up and down, but eventually became normal and easy to do. When Pearl came to the Cresendo itself, she wasn't prepared for its ferocity. The Wind drive her down, then up, then around and sideways, forcing her wings to her sides no matter how much she tilted them.

Suddenly, a sparkling shape dropped at her side. A male Pearlcatcher.

He flared his wings out, stretching the muscles to their max and then tilted them, showing her the way the wind rushed over and underneath the membranes, instead of getting stuck and pulling at the creases in her wings. Almost immediately, she stabilised. Pearl smiled as the wind floated over her scales, now warm and soothing instead of the angry torrent it had been before. She thanked the male and learned that his name was Arc. He led her to his clan, nestled deep in the WindSingers territory within a dip in the earth. She descended slowly, consumed by curiosity. The main clan space was a lot larger than she had imagined and stretched back into the base of a mountain.

Over the course of her stay, Pearl kept close to Arc as he showed her around. Their friendship developed quickly and blossomed easily as they spoke. When the time came for Pearl to leave, she invite do the male to join her. She could see that he was hesitant, that he hadn't travelled much. His role in the clan had been Explorer, a role that he had always wanted to test out with the territory, so he agreed. Pearl didn't expect him to stay with her for long, but was happy that he was joining her non the less.
