Lax and carefree, little bothers Koelsh as he sits about looking like some gold-engraved artifact of dark stone. He enjoys stories and riddles, and appears to be content with or without company. He seems to have an uncanny knowledge of relics and treasure from the older ages, but repeating things he already knows bores him and getting more detailed information out of him at length can be a frustrating task. Though he has a good sense of humor and a go-with-the-flow personality, he shows his own special brand of social cunning and often leaves others with an uneasy thought that he knows something and is not telling anyone on purpose. Koelsh is all about relaxation and having a good time.

It was eventually dragged out of Koelsh that he lived in an area between The Hewn City and The Beacon of the Radiant Eye, and that he often visited the ruins. Inquiries about the ruins haven't lead to much, as all they seem to illicit is, "it was kind of misty I guess, and there was stuff there," before the subject is dropped out of boredom. He can appraise all kinds of objects and can say when and where a thing is likely from at a glance but doesn't seem to actively hunt for them himself, much preferring to indulge in puzzles. When asked how and why he got to the realm of fire, he responded, "I don't know, I just kind of walked here and then I got tired so I stayed". Some would chalk up his vagueness to dullness, but the observant may guess that he probably has the highest intelligence in the clan. Everyday nonsense and repetition simply bore him out of his skull as a result.
