Yellow is generally rude and temperamental. She basically doesn't trust anyone at all, especially after being betrayed by someone she thought was worthy of her trust. She knows she's perfect, and superior to all but the other three diamonds, who are more or less her equals. While she's bickery and tends to argue with them and try to push her way and opinions over theirs, she still respects them and cares about their well-being.
Quick to anger and make rash decisions, Yellow is a figure to be feared, and should always be approached with respect, but caution. While she tries her best to distance herself from her emotions and make impartial decisions, she sometimes lets her feelings get in the way of seeing what she really should do, rather than what she wants to do.
Perhaps not the most expected interest for a ruler of several planets, and one of four who rules over an entire species, Yellow is very interested in writing. It's what she spends all her free time doing. But not anything factual or remotely scientific. You couldn't call it "non-fiction" at all. While it isn't all the same thing, most of what Yellow writes are romance novels, and typically erotic ones at that. Personally, she doesn't see a problem with her little hobby, and will happily let anyone look around in her novels, not understanding why it makes so many of them uncomfortable. But she finds it fascinating and thrilling to write, especially when there's a lot of drama involved.

Yellow is, for the most part, a temperamental diamond. She can come off as quite rude and overconfident. She jumps to anger easily, having a fiery, red-hot temperament. As such, many fear her for how brash and bold that she can be. She is to be approached with all respect, just as much as those should use caution in her presence not to provoke her. She has a high sense of nobility to her, and naturally so. She is one of the four diamonds who rule over an entire species, including several whole planets. It’s not far-fetched for her to see herself as superior, only for the three other diamonds to be close to her level. She has a difficult time coping with her feelings in general, but she works to see around them and to have them not affect her descisions. Still, she has a tough time in doing this.

She has trust issues, and for a well cause. In her past, she has been betrayed by someone whom she had put her faith in, somebody who she deemed to truly deserve the attention of a diamond. However, now that this person has broken her trust for them, she’s become more cold when it comes to others, pushing away potential new relationships, and keeping emotionally distant from ones that she is already in. Even then, she tends to argue often with the other diamonds, aggressively imposing her opinions and ways over theirs. However, at heart, she still respects them and cares about their well-being, even if they don’t always get along on proper terms. After all, they are diamonds, just like her.

Many are taken aback by her quite eccentric hobby. Surely, it’s hardly anything that somebody would expect for a diamond to do, but she enjoys it greatly. All of her time not spent ruling the planets and making decisions, you can be sure for certain that she is up writing. However, what she writes can hardly be considered… Scientific or factual in any sense of the word. You see, when she writes, she isn’t working on political discourse or creating educational references. Rather, she would much rather work on romance novels, particularly ones of erotic nature. She’s beyond glad to show them off to anyone who asks, and never understands why it makes people uncomfortable. It makes her so incredibly happy to write, most particularly when there is drama involved.

Blue is usually quite capable of keeping her cool, especially around her normal subjects. She's not exactly what one would refer to as a "social butterfly", however, and isn't always very good at interacting well with other people, those who she's not used to. Blue can actually get flustered quite easily, especially in situations or around people that she just doesn't understand. She gets frustrated and very near tears at times, unable to figure out how to cope with whatever's going on. She'll often speak quite aggressively at those who frustrate her, not knowing what else to do, and simply wishing they would behave like expected. Blue Diamond always expects to be respected and treated as she should be, and is easily irritated by anyone who is clearly her inferior acting like she isn't better than them. She hates physical contact, too, unless she initiates it, which is rarely. It makes her feel very uncomfortable. She also always dons a cloak, which she keeps pulled over her face, hiding it from view.
Despite being flustered easily, Blue is a very good leader. She cares deeply for the well-being of her subjects, and will go to great lengths to ensure everyone and everything is as it should be. She's quick to eliminate problems, and very careful in who she allows to be in positions of power. Although her choice for second in command, the one in charge when she isn't there, is a bit questionable, her people trust her judgement, and are very loyal to their Diamond, rarely considering going against her. A measly little Pearl is her favorite person who she trusts completely. This Pearl is the one who's second in command. She's always knows what's going on in the furthest reaches of her Diamond's domain, and while at first a bit uncertain herself, she's more than capable of taking Blue Diamond's place when it comes down to it.
Very child-like at times, especially when it comes to her favorite hobby, Blue adores drawing. She'll often lay on her stomach doodling for hours. But what she loves drawing more than anything else are buildings. She loves designing various building of all shapes and sizes, whether they'll ever be built or not. She'll often share the drawings with child-like enthusiasm around trusted friends, though her attitude is a huge source of embarrassment if anybody points it out. She likes to try to pretend she's all grown-up and mature, and is indeed very capable, but that doesn't change that on the inside, she's still quite child-like, and it really shows sometimes.

Blue, unlike her Yellow counterpart, is an expert at keeping her cool. She’s not what anyone would describe as a social butterfly, preferring to spend her time alone, as she isn’t the best at interactions. When she does become upset, she can be frustrated to tears. She sees herself as the leader that she is, and expects respect. When people who are clearly inferior to herself acts as if they have a say against her, or in general, she becomes irritated. She just wishes that everybody would act the way that they are supposed to, and she may even snap aggressively at those who defy her, unable to figure any other way to respond. She absolutely loathes any sort-of physical contact, unless she is the one who initiates it, but even that is rare. Any sort of touch makes her feel incredibly uncomfortable. She is always seen wearing a cloak, and keeping it pulled over her face to hide what she looks like. As such, most of the normal people have never seen her face.

Blue deeply cares for her subjects and their entire well being, and will go to extensive lengths to make for certain that everything is well. Instead of letting problems linger, she attacks and destroys them straightaway. Her people deeply trust her judgement, even when it seems to be almost questionable, such as her choice for a second-in command. They don’t even consider going against her decisions, even when it means that the second most powerful to her is a Pearl. Blue has full faith in Pearl to lead, and Pearl always has a strong sense of knowing, having understanding of everything that happens within the Domain, even the most far-off reaches. Although Pearl might not be exactly a popular choice, people believe in her since she’s backed by Blue, and though at first she was a bit nervous to take over the role of second in command, in reality, she has more than enough potential to take on the role of Blue in her absence; blue has trained her well.

As Yellow also has a hobby, so does Blue. Both are creatively inclined, although Blue shows her ability through a different way. Instead of writing, she’s quite an artist. She can be found laying around on her stomach and drawing in her many sketchbooks. In particular, she takes great pride in designing buildings, even more unrealistic ones with strange shapes and proportions, and it’s her joy when some of her more realistic designs are actually built. While doing her work as a diamond, she has to take on a very mature, grown-up personality, but truly, inside of her, she can be very childlike, and this helps her to bring that side of her out. She’s more than eager to show off her works to her good friends, and can act quite a bit like a child proud of her work. When people bring this up, she gets considerably embarrassed, trying to keep this side of her on the down-low. She gets flustered quite easily.
