Biography
Rank: 2nd in Command
Second in command and enemy to Sledge, Orchid was adopted into the clan rather early on in it's history and was raised with Sledge's first litter of dragonets. A powerful asset to their combat form and the only dragon in size to Sledge, she holds high in the ranks.
Brutally honest, strong, just and balanced she tends to be a popular leader. Many come to her with problems as Sledge is hesitant to listen to petty complaints.

Fire. For the longest time all she knew was warmth and flames that licked her nest and made living almost unbearable. Her brother had been missing for some time now but the nameless hatchling worried not as her parents showed no concerns. A few days passed before she opened her eyes and saw the dead world she lived in. The Blacksand Annex was her birthplace, her home and life.
Flexing her wings, she left the nest to explore the area with her talons burning a little more with every step. The ground was hot, the air was dry and the sky was grey with ash and smoke from the Great Furnace she had no doubt. In a way, it had it's own beauty but the boiling atmosphere cut through her positive hopes. From the shore, she could make out the open plains of the windswept plateau beyond and tilted her head at it.
No smoke or steam there, just open plains. Curious, the hatchling made her way towards the new land with her head low; not wanting to attract attention. Her parents were working hard to prove their value to Flamecaller, best to avoid them. With her mind set on adventure, she traveled to the land of wind with high hopes in her heart. The heat was left behind her and the sun's natural warmth spread over her scales as she climbed to the plateau.
The young hatchling was not disappointed. Beautiful bamboo and long green grass met her at the top, tickling her belly as she padded onwards. The Sea of a Thousand Currents lay beyond the hills, that much she knew from the maps laying around her den. The never ending storm sent wind over the hatchling, almost blowing her off her feet but her heart didn't waver. She spent most of the day exploring the area, feeling the cold breeze and seeing bugs for the first time.
They did such adventures to nearby clans until she was able to fly long distances. She knew every hill of the Windswept Plateau, each coral bed in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, while difficult she also mapped some of the Ice Fields. Unknown to the unnamed hatchling, Her head was on the chopping block. Other dragons taking notice to her lack of loyalty and devotion to hard work, she put up for trade to other clans. Her wings ended up becoming property of the nature flight.
She was flown off to the Viridian Labyrinth and carried to the Everbloom Gardens where Sledge and his new clan were settled. She was named Orchid for her vibrant colors; even more so her vibrant personality. Reckless, stubborn, eager to return home only to be told this was her home. It took weeks before she finally settled in and began exploring the forest she'd never seen,
Orchid learned of the struggle between nature and plague, the balance of life and death they were to take part in. It was different, gave her some purpose but she didn't exactly take to the responsibility... Now long settled, she's in constant struggle for leadership she so strongly desires. To travel again, to move to the Starfall isles or Windswept Plateau for a change. Though having the elemental advantage, she can never seem to best the clan leader.
