Haiko was raised in a clan of fishermen and thus lived much of her time on a ship - the Silverbird. Her parents were both cooks on the ship, so from a young age she learned how to prepare food for a large amount of dragons. She loved her adventurous life on the sea, sailing to new places and bonding close with the rest of the crew. It wasn't until she came of age that she decided that it was time to start a new adventure - this time on land, in search of another clan to start her adult life. Though her parents were reluctant to let her go, she assured them she would write often, and off she went. Within a month, she had run into a clan of nomads stopping for supplies at the marketplace. After conversing with some of the members, she decided that perhaps a more religious life was calling for her: their message was pure, and their lives were simple. So she offered up her services to make food for the clan and began her journey with them.

Haiko is a mischievous dragon. She loves to get into trouble, especially with hatchlings and younger dragons. Despite her elegant and delicate looks, she actually loves to rough-house with her clanmates and in the Coliseum. Haiko is generally happy and almost always has a smile on her face. It takes a lot to discourage her from trying new things, which is perhaps why most are drawn to her courage and friendly face.
