Chernobog tries his best to be menacing and malevolent, yet he's simply far too nice a dragon to pull it off. Even the hatchlings aren't intimidated by him. (And he'd probably feel terrible if he ever did actually scare any of them.) He stalks down hallways and glares at anyone he passes in what he believes to be an appropriately villainous manner, but if someone stumbles he'll be the first to offer them assistance getting back up.

He's put a lot of effort into perfecting his evil laughter, though the results are less than spectacular. Often hatchlings burst into giggles when they hear it, while adults exhibit more self-control and manage to refrain from offending his ego.
To his eternal mortification Chernobog has somehow become the babysitter of the clan, on account of how well he gets along with all the hatchlings. He insists he's the wrong dragon for the job, but the way the youngsters hang on his every word at story time and how he lets them climb all over him while playing indicates otherwise.
