Revenant hails from the Sunbeam Ruins. He was born in a clan that consisted mostly of warriors. As a child, warriors were like superheroes to him. Their strength and prowess in battle amazes him. He longed to become one. Everyday he'd dream of wearing a set of full armor and wielding a sword.

Revenant discovered his desire to become a warrior when he first saw a battle. A group of rogues had suddenly intruded upon clan territory. They were ransacking everything from food, materials, and even trinkets. Their clan warriors were quickly deployed in order to suppress the attack. The young fae watched in awe and admiration as each of the rogues were skillfully and smoothly brought down. Of course, there was blood and gore, but what was a battle without a little blood? The thrill of the battle made his heart beat fast. He was on the edge of excitement until every rogue was finally chased out.

At that moment, his dream was born. Oh, what an impossible dream it was.

Faes were the last breed to be considered as a warrior by his clan. It wasn't a discrimination. His breed wasn't big enough to become strong and powerful. They weren't meant for close combat battle. Their skill in magic was unmatchable, but they weren't considered strong physically. All faes in Revenant's clan was anything but a warrior. His parents themselves was a mage and a healer.

However, that wasn't about to stop this little dragon. No, Revenant was determined to pursue his dream. Sadly, most didn't take him seriously. Others told him to give up and stick to books and magic. Ridicule was a common thing to him. Some even looked at him with pity. Even the warriors themselves only laughed at him. Give it up, boy. Faes can't warriors. Why? With just a flick of my tail, I can send you flying to space. You're better off being something else.

One of the warriors, in an attempt to discourage him, gave him a 'chance'. The dragon stuck a large and heavy blade in a rock. If he could manage to pull out this blade then they would recognize him as a warrior. Revenant, optimistic, accepted the challenge with glee.

If there was one thing he was big at, it was his will and passion. Revenant, every day, would go near the training grounds. He'd watch the warriors train and imitate their actions. He needed to get stronger in order to pull out that sword. He could feel himself growing stronger each day. Day by day he would try to pull it out. In the first few months, the sword didn't move even a bit. However, slowly and surely, some noticed the blade raising up little by little.

Finally, after such a long long time, Revenant managed to unsheathe the blade from the rock. Nothing can describe the amount of joy he had at that moment. Revenant stood proudly on top of the rock, holding the illuminating blade with one hand. He did it! He was able to pull it out! No one could believe his feat. How could a little dragon like him pull out such a heavy blade? Handwork and determination is what he always tells them.

As promised, Revenant received his recognition as a full-fledged warrior. He was allowed in the training grounds to battle and train with other warriors. Moreover, he was given his own very set of armor. Oh, what a dream come true it was.

It turned out that the Revenant was better than the rest of them. Being little gave him the advantage of speed. Not only did he have strength now, but he also had speed. None of them could land a hit on him, but he was fast enough to strike them. He was undefeated in battle. His name become famous throughout the land as the "Fae Who Cannot be Defeated".
