I am the doorway to the Otherworld, the Never Never, the realm of the ghostly souls that communicate with us. Some are terrifying, some are sweet, but mostly they are simply here with a message for us to make our lives on this plane more satisfying and keep us upon our appointed paths.

The large imperial gracefully settles behind the midnight blue velvet covered table and invites you to sit opposite her. Around you are dark silk drapes covereing the walls, so dark in the flickering candlelight that you cannot tell if they are purple or black. Scattered about are cushions and shelves, and focusing on one of the lumps ssseen on a cushion, you realize, as it raises it's head and looks at you with bright intelligent eyes, that you are surrounded by creatures.

Don't mind the small souls around us. They help me in my work. You have come to ask me something.
