Chert

(That random male dragon that showed up at the start. He's grown on me.)

HISTORY
Chert grew up alone, living in a pleasant crag in a cliff. One day, Chert heard a great deal of commotion while he was out hunting, and joined a fight against rogue dragons. He and the fae dragon made an excellent team and fought off the rogues. Unfortunately, her home was destroyed in the fight.

The dragon he helped was called Ferra, and they became close friends quickly. He chose to leave with her, and they had all kinds of adventures together. Eventually, the two decided to look for a permanent residence. Once they found a suitable den in the rocks, under the reign of the Earthshaker, the two settled down together.

After having their first nest of eggs hatch, they decided to start a clan that would be a refuge for dragons that were lonely, and a place to start a bright future.
(You see what I did there? :P)

ABOUT
Chert has a seemingly intimidating exterior, but others can get by it very quickly because of his approachable attitude. He is typically kind, and very supportive of other dragon's endeavors. Chert is not often riled up about anything, and it is rare to see him angry, but when he is, he can prove very vicious and his combat skill is a force to be reckoned with. Chert would really rather resolve conflict calmly, though, so his training is just for times when fighting is necessary to defend the clan. He is a very insightful dragon, and enjoys time to himself.
