Summer Sphinx Beeswax Primal Banner Travel Gear of the Wanderer

"well, if all else fails, dear, just go for the throat."

W
ITH an impulsive, furious compassion for every dragon in the clan, Sarcodae is a lot more...intense than one would expect of a dragon their age. As a young Fae, they and their mate exalted themselves to the Plaguebringer, where they were sent to the Sunbeam Ruins. Always trying to pick a fight with any Light dragon who so much as frowned in their direction, they ultimately learned the hard way that blind violence was not, despite popular theory, what the Plaguebringer would want. To be Plague was to adapt to any situation, after all, and those that could not would quickly perish. Once they understood that lesson, they cooled down their tactics and even excelled, and it was this excellence that finally made the Plaguebringer recognize their efforts. She gave them a body suited to defending their sharp tongue: the Bogsneak. With that, they ended their exaltation, and returned to their mate to find a new group of dragons to look out for.

Sarcodae discovered their Summer Sphinx on their way to the Lightweaver's domain, trying to steal food away from their supplies. They promptly attacked the beast until it ran off in defeat, and they figured that was the last they'd see of it--until it started following them wherever they went. Finding that the sphinx was almost as battle-hungry as they were, they kept it around, dubbing it Striker. It can now mostly be seen begging for scraps at mealtimes, where clanmates remark that despite its strange appearance, its pleading face is "remarkably cute."
