He rarely leaves the nearby shoreline, and his days are spent in virtual solitude. Nonetheless Talladega doesn't mind. The sea is what he loves.

Although Talladega doesn't spend time in the library with the other residents, he's still an important part of it. The sea has many gifts to give, and he collects the artifacts, stones, shells, and even skeletons that wash up on shore. These finds get catalogued back at the library and help to expand some of its collections.

Despite Talladega's life as a relative hermit, he's friendly and willing to talk with anyone who visits. Many of the library dragons enjoy going to the shore to visit with him; they usually bring back his collections, negating the need for any specific dragon to act as a transport on a regular basis.
