Shortly after arriving in the Clan of the Snowfall Valley, or Lumisade Clan, Natsu and Lucy got married and had their only hatchling, Calithys. The two were very knowledgeable scholars in the Library, but soon, their love began to fade away. Natsu and Lucy reflected on this, agreeing that they were just too young and had rushed into love. They respectfully and maturely parted ways, their divorce not affecting their friendship. Natsu and Lucy are still amicable with one another, and he even attended her second wedding to Hespero Rosario, an Alurvua Library scholar turned new Leader of the Lumisade Clan and Snowfall Valley. Natsu and Hespero have mutual respect for each other and are friends despite the divorce. Natsu's over Lucy -- he married the highly intellectual Deneria Diazna, a former adventurer. Natsu is overjoyed at his first child and eldest son Polaris's return to the clan.

Natsu used to be an orphan, but was adopted by another clan. He loved his time there, and had a strong bond with his friends and family. However, soon after dating Lucy Loredor, the two decided to leave the clan and explore Sornieth together. They married soon after, and had a son named Calithys.
