the giant

An ancient statue, brought to life by even elder magic, finds itself awakened in a Lightning robotics lab. It is a benevolent figure, interested mostly in protecting its newfound clanmates, but no scientist worth their pay would stop the experiments there. These new constructs are an attempt to recover the knowledge that was lost, to understand the secrets of artificial life. Each individual is just one of many, imperfect but perhaps all the better for it.

A great departure in form from the previous constructs in its line. In a fit of vanity its creator made a statue in his own image, crafting a Ridgeback that towered over all its siblings. It's a slow, lumbering thing, with a giant's appetite. It must constantly feed off of magic in order to power its massive form, though with the right power source it could likely move mountains. It seems terrified of water- strange, as there's no metal on it, it's not like it could rust.
