Gorgon is the matriarch of this clan. It's taken many mates and fostered many children, all in the name of the Arcanist.

She has the unique ability to communicate directly with the Arcanist through her dreams, using a sort of magical leyline that can only be accessed while she sleeps. Wanting to share this power with the other dragons of her clan, Gorgon infused a small pool in the deepest recesses of the lair with magic from this leyline.

Not all dragons are able to use it the way she does, but it's said if you allow yourself to fall into a deep sleep within its shallow waters the Arcanist's wisdom will come to you.

Gorgon periodically takes high ranking members of her clan with her to these meetings and acts as a dream guide for them, helping them access the leyline and speak directly with their clan's deity. These meetings can last anywhere from days to months.

Gorgon has a very high level of magic at its disposal due to its nature as a primal guardian born from the shores of the Starfall Isle. It causes fear in both beasts and dragons alike; but despite this it's very well liked by its clan and is seen as a good and dependable leader.

Her clanmates call her 'Lady Gorgon' as a formality.
