Jade

Blizzard was giving Derek some gliding practice, when Derek had froze on a long, windy branch.
" Hey, what's that? It looks like an egg!" the rust-colored Fae exclaimed.
Blizzard spread his wings out so that he slowed down, before turned around and gliding towards the egg on the ground.
It was a rotted, decay-looking green color. The smell that surrounded it nearly made Blizzard vomit, but he struggled through the fierce smell. There were cracks that were appearing in the egg, and the egg would shake every few seconds.
Finally, Blizzard clawed off a piece of egg-shell to help the hatchling( If there even was a Dragon in there).
A small, jade-green male Fae popped out, his bright red eyes opening wide as he scanned the forest. But when he tried to talk, only croaks, trills, and yelps came from his maw.

A few days after Blizzard and Derek had brought the hatchling to the hollow, Clithe and Blizzard had decided to keep him in their nests.
But one day, something amazing happened.
Blizzard was sitting beside the jade-green Fae, who was gazing outside of the cave. Clithe was sitting on the other side of the young hatchling.
Then, the hatchling turned to Blizzard, warmth and love glimmering in his eyes.
" Da da!" he squeaked, and wrapped his arms around Blizzard's neck.
Clithe and her mate gasped, but it was all to clear about their decision.

A few days afterward, the hatchling had already learned to fly for over a minute, and he could actually talk now. But it sounded like this: Food please. Play, please. No. Yes.
But that didn't discourage Clithe and her mate. They found perfection and kindness in this young Fae, and he seemed to love them as much as they loved him.

One night, Clithe and Blizzard woke up to happy trills in the nest they shared. They sleepily raised their heads, to see the young hatchling curled up in between them, smiling and trilling happily.
And it was all to clear what they would decide......

They would name him Jade, and he would be their son.
