 B I O G R A P H Y
悪魔の影を踊る Akuma no kage o odoru "dancing through the demons shadow" As second in command of the clan, Mononokeia has a natural talent for leadership. She has a strong sense of justice and evaluates what kind of dragon each of her potential victims is before she decides whether to let them go. She does not let her personal feelings get in the way of what must be done. Mono does not like dwelling on negative emotions and may at times appear flippant because of this. She is also very honest, sometimes bluntly so, telling Sanuye that her hesitation toward Hotaru is holding herself back. LHer companion Artemis, the centaur archer, is a long lifetime friend that helps Mono with much of her work at the matriarch of the Ryu Clan. At times she can be snappy at Mono if something she has decided doesn't settle with her. At other times she is a great battle partner. While Mono fly's the skies, Artemis fires her arrows with pinpoint accuracy upon any threat.

Meeting the shadow
She walked up to him a little closer slanting her eyes slightly. Soon the soft sounds of hooves caught his attention as a centaur stepped out bow at the ready. "Calm your bow Artemis, he is a friend, she said softly turning back to him as the center disappear once again into the forest around them. He flicked his tail nervously before relaxing his wings. "Let me guess, you are like her little watchdog or something?" she inquired in a bitter, cynical voice, and an equally cynical, equally bitter expression morphed on her face. Nura snorted at the sharpness. "Far from that more of a spymaster," he replied in a silky voice, enjoying her wit and sharpness, he let himself sit down wrapping his tail around his hind legs and watched her force a smile. "My lair before this was much more strict with how things were done. Though this lair everything seems more relaxed a more how shall I say... family environment." She summarized, reaching the right conclusion, and he couldn't help but smile slightly at her directness. Her voice soft but strong. "It does sound quite right," he confirmed in an honest voice, shifting his weight from leg to leg with slight inconvenience, not bothering to convince her otherwise. "I certainly hope that being a spymaster isn't your main profession," she commented with an amused smile, surprised by his honesty "You do quite a horrible job. "Well," he leaned forward, "I guess not, in the beginning, my father before me training was.. harsh to say the least. Most the clan accepts me as a leader but not much else." "You seem more than just some high-strung leader to me." "What?" his eyes flashed in the dim lighting, he didn't expect her to say something like that. He looked at her with confusion. "To me you seem like someone who just follows the rules and guidelines that are given. Not that that is a bad thing. Though I think you should start to think for yourself ." sHe explained shortly and nonchalantly. "I couldn't say, you know me better than I know myself and we just met." He said wryly, crossing his arms over his chest, a skeptic look upon his sharp features. "Hmm, I guess it's a gift I have. I can read into dragons magical aura and in it gives many secrets away that the user is trying to hide. Your soul can not lie. Even when the words are met to hide something the soul always reveals the secrets behind each word." She said softly with a satisfied expression, and he could feel her eyes prey, scanning his body or more likely his soul. "Impressive, well welcome to the lair. I will show you around as soon as you are settled in." He promised, turning and snapping out his wings, "I must leave now, I'll see you around." "You aren't surprised in the least that I can read into your soul and see all your secrets? Doesn't that bother you?" she raised her eyebrows. "Maybe it does, but I trust that you would go around telling everyone everybody's secrets, you are too smart for that." He said, outsmarting, beaming slightly with confidence he didn't know he possessed. For a moment he felt vulnerable, exposed as he waited for her reply. "You are right on that account I look forward to exploring the territory and getting to know this clan of yours." Her answer was polite, but her voice sounded shy, venerable. Way different from the way she acted earlier. A sincere smile lightened his face, he breathed out with relief, a warm feeling filled his chest; it made him straightened his back, and hold his head high. Before sweeping his wings down and in short bow. "Farewell, my lady." He said in a tender, satin like voice, taking one last glimpse of those peculiar face before he turned around, taking a slight running start before flapping his leathery wings down and taking to the skies.Until he realized something "Damn I forgot to ask for her name." He growled as he flapped harder reaching higher height before leveling out making his way to his border patrol duty. "I will get so much crap from Kogami."
