BASIC DESCRIPTION.
Lhiannan grew up with a humble family in the traditional way of Guardian dragons, but for her part she was always more interested in magic- though magic seemed largely uninterested in her. She possessed aptitude for no spell she could find, and her mood grew so low that her parents eventually barred her from seeking any more mage tutoring or buying spellbooks, just to spare her heart- but she did find one. Just a single spell she could use, and it became her precious secret. With a whisper and a wink, she could get a sense for what others felt and thought, and hiding secrets from her became quite a task indeed. She was ushered off to her travels somewhat early, and didn't mind it a bit. As a yevaun she traveled far, but could not find a dragon she felt needed her for long. With shame in her heart, she made her way back to the Starfall Aisles to seek council, when she bumped into a lost Fae around her age. He was extremely agitated, fins flipping this way and that as he spoke at a mile a minute until she placed a claw over his snout in a shushing gesture and asked him to repeat it slowly. He obliged after a bit of a pause, explaining that a brutish dragon had challenged his home and of course he lost because he was barely the size of a mouse just yet and it wasn't fair and- he had to be shushed again, but Lhiannan couldn't help but smile. This was her charge. As a yerlan, she trained herself to hone her strength and hunt, leaving her newfound charge to study and plan. Together, the two came up with a plot to push the interloper out. There are no witnesses to this event, but it is well-known that she and him settled into the newly emptied lair for a time to ensure it would be safe for the fae's extended family to return to. When even the barest hints of the invader's scent and shed scales were less than dust, they agreed it was time for her to move on. As she prepared her things one morning to leave, the fae stopped her, and asked to come along. She considered for a bit, but realized that she wasn't some frustrated searcher anymore- she was sulan, and where her journey went was up to her now. And she liked his company. He finally introduced himself by his full name, Pitarch, and the two traveled together ever since, even raising a small clutch of eggs. The small family eventually settled into the Shifting Expanse, looking to set up somewhere more business oriented to get more of a real lodge going- that, and it had a nice location. And shining spires. Here they constructed the first entryway to their lair, catching the firebugs in jars and distilling their lights into jars of luminescent chemicals. A misspeak later, it was dubbed 'mothlight', and the House of Mothlight began in earnest. Its first guests arrived not long after. An Image here could be about 315px wide, and any height. Founder and lorekeeper of the House of Mothlight, alongside her life partner Pitarch. She handles most of the political and war affairs, utilizing her charm and grace as well as her large stature and enjoyment of gladiatorial combat. She enjoys luxury and shimmer, whether that be in the form of a rare polished emerald from the depths of the earth or a newly-forged rapier with delicate flourishes. |
