Menamoe

Personality: Menamoe used to be a bright optimistic young dragon. She had goals in mind but didn't care if she met them because she believed everything would fall into place eventually. This was before she became the Matriarch of the Wandering Seas. Now Menamoe struggles to smile and can often be found with a resting b-face. She glares at everyone unintentionally and her words are sharp. It is not uncommon for her advisers and guards to have to remind her to smile. Her eye twitches constantly when her nerves are acting up.

History: Menamoe was born and raised in a Plague clan. There she grew to love the world around her even if not all of it was good. Believed flat out that anything could made into something exciting and new if you just gave it a chance. She would constantly pick up various trinkets and critters to sell at public markets in the hopes of getting others to see what she saw in them. This is how she captured the attention of a certain spiral.

Prince Poseidon visited her whenever he could, often sneaking out of his royal duties and away from his kingdom to do so. They had many conversations, shared food and adventures and soon Menamoe could feel the beginnings of love between them. When he asked her to be his queen, she didn't hesitate to answer with a yes. She wasn't aware that the kingdom and his love came with a price.

Not long after they both ascended to the throne of the Wandering Seas, a curse made itself known. Targeting her mate and starting a war they had little hope to win. They did, by some miracle, but in the process Poseidon sacrificed himself. Menamoe was left to mourn and lead her dragons alone. She did so with grace and her head held up high but a bitter seed grew within her.

When her mate possibly returned to her in the cursed form of a child, she couldn't bear to look him in the eyes and struggles to talk to him as she once did.

• Has impeccable manners but openly burps in front of her family.
• Refuses to watch another play after seeing an awful rendition of Macbeth.
