A B O U T
Founder and first Lord of The Wandering Reef, Aalay is fierce dragon who never shies away from a fight. He carries with him an aura of leadership, contrasted by his relatively quiet and aloof demeanor. While typically calm, Aalay is renewed with intense vigor whenever he senses or enters combat. The thrill of hunting solidifies it as his favorite pastime, second only to combat. His acute senses are extremely well developed, even for a mirror. His loyalty is unquestionable, but hard to earn. Despite all this, those who get to know Aalay find an unexpected sense of humor and a (somewhat) bubbly personality. Born of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Aalay has a deep rooted love for water. One can often find him relaxing in frigid pools of water after a hunting excursion. He flies through the water at breakneck speeds, his body adapted for life at sea through his innate nature and powerful, streamlined build.

B I O G R A P H Y
As of current day, Aalay ventures the sea with Ocean’s Bane as a pirate. Fate led him to an encounter with the guild, allowing him the chance to return to the sea he so dearly loves. Calling back to his youth, Aalay brings carnage to those who travel the sea, waging war from Shattershell at the command of Komadori.

B A C K G R O U N D
Aalay’s origin is not know by any members of his horde, perhaps not even himself. He seemingly sprung out of nowhere, forming a clan from a small band of dragons he met in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. He expanded this horde throughout the years, building it up among the shallows. He led them through example, providing hatchlings with ample inspiration through his acts on the battlefield. Around the period of time when the Beastclans started to become more ambitious, Aalay chose to round up the horde and travel to The Ashfall Waste. If war were to come, as he felt it would, he would need to forge his loose band of allies into a formidable force with iron will. So the clan left their home and took for an unfamiliar and unforgiving land. Eventually, Aalay would step down from his position as Lord and hand it down to a protege of his called Quazzy; for the sea, and the adventures it contained, beckoned to him.
