Biography
Malthoruk is a fierce and stalwart defender of his clan. His single-minded desire to defend his clan often times leaves him heavily wounded. Even when his mate, Ashelin, tries to stop him and make him rest, to leave the defense to the others, he still pushes on. Always finding himself on the front lines of combat he has little room for carelessness and always goes for a sure-kill strike. But even with such an iron-willed desire to safeguard his home he is still only mortal and at times is incapacitated due to his wounds. During which Ashelin takes advantage of to force him to rest and give his wounds the time they need to heal. Which he does so reluctantly.
After having reached Adulthood with his previous clan Malthoruk left and set off for himself, to wander the world and take in it's wonders. After many months of travel Malthoruk was beset upon by powerful monsters and after many hours of fighting he came out victorious. But at a terrible cost. Gravely wounded he layed there, waiting for death to take him and hoped it would at least be a peaceful death. As he grew weaker his vision faded and when he thought the time near he glimpsed a dark figure approaching, believing it to be Death to finally take him. But he did not die, he found himself awake, an unknown number of days later, resting in a small nest. His body was heavily bandaged and there were piles of food and giant leaves full of water siting close by. And, to his great surprise, another of his kind laying close to him. Ashelin was her name, as he later came to discover, she cared for him until he has completely recovered. After which many weeks had passed and the small alcove they had spent their days in began to feel more and more like home. So both, neither of which had a clan to return to, decided to call this place home, and a clan along with it.
