A N U V I E N
the blood priest
perfectionistic • cunning • creative

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Devotion seeped deep into his core, perhaps too deep. The gembond he is afflicted with runs deep below his skin, affecting his nerves and dulling his pain. Blood often trickles down from the gems lodged into his hide, leaving a trail of blood without his noticing. It used to bother him but no more. In the drops he saw purpose, meaning. He claims himself a priest, performing ritualistic sacrifice using monster and beast. He praises his patron deity through these sacrifices, painting intricate symbols in the crimson liquid, all to please her. Whether it is the Wasteland that drove him to this or the gembond that is creeping into his mind remains unclear.
-written by Archaic

▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Months, maybe years have passed since the days of his childhood, and the thread of fate has lead to him taking a leadership position beside his self-appointed priestly duties. These days, he leads Clan Beinmergur, calling the shots on what happens between him and the rest of the dragons that had decided to join his sides.

Even now, he has not let go of his previous... Habits, so to speak, and he leads the clan with the same devotion as the one he feels regarding his patron deity.[ In fact, his devotion runs so deep that he expects the same of any dragon that even dares enter the lines of Clan Beinmergur. Though lately, he has been forced to seek out protection of bigger clans, due to unfortunate events.
