Nimbus

A nasty fall as an early hatchling forced Nimbus to leave his home in search for help. When he found an old Coatl from the Fire Flight he discovered how to forge mechanics to assist him in his everyday life. As time passed, Nimbus became more machine and less dragon. Knowing his appearance would frighten off or disgust other dragons, he stayed with his Coatl mentor until the elder's passing.

When he finally set off to find a clan that would accept him, he came across a lone Skydancer in the Tangled Wood. Nimbus was struck her odd markings and mystic attire and approached to confront her, hopeful that she would be less surprised by his appearance. He soon found out that her odd markings were the result of a strange new tertiary gene and was invited into her father's clan.
