Biography

NOTIFY TheOrphaner for babies!!!

FANCY LOOKUP COMING SOMETIME... Maybe. I'm lazy.

Background story:

Once upon a time a volcano containing radioactive waste bursted in Sornieth. All of the dragons living in the hazard zone had to evacuate and leave behind all their belongings, including eggs. After sometime they were permitted to return to pick up some belongings. They were all relieved to find the babies inside their eggs were still alive; having been kept warm by the heat of the volcano. Everyone was ready to move on with their lives, but disaster struck anew...

When everyone's eggs finally began to hatch, it turned out the hatchlings were badly infected with the radioactive toxins. Some had mutated in various ways, others were weak and died on the spot. The dragons grieved what happened to their babies. An order was made that all infected hatchlings and eggs were to be send to the wastelands of plague; given they're not unfamiliar with disease and decay over there. The parents were devastated and revolted, but eventually they had to give up on their beloved children. They prayed, prayed that the Plaguebringer would be good to them, and that the harsh environment of the Plague lands would not do them in.

It is out of one such eggs that Radiation was born. As she opened her eyes for the first time, she met Gamma, a Coatl hatchling not much older than herself, whom seemed to have the same symptoms as herself; Both were covered in a radioactive-colored mucus that their body somehow produced indefinitely. She found him reading a letter that their parents had given to them; A letter explaining the events that occurred, and why they were on their own, as well as what would be their given names in case the eggs hatched.

Out alone in the world, Gamma and Radiation quickly bonded. They befriended all the other infected hatchlings as they all stuck together to survive, but still these two made a formidable duo that soon became known as "Gamma-Ray". They didn't let their circumstances bother them much and together they came to be tricksters, always pulling pranks on others, much to everyone's chagrin. Though they both desired one thing; To find their parents and learn about their origins. However the group was somewhat quarantained; not permitted to leave the Plague lands, as their parents weren't permitted to enter themselves. They all had just one clue; Their eye colors showed them which part of Sornieth their parents originated from.

Sadly their happily ever after would have to wait a bit more, as tragedy befell the Infected' again; Some time passed, Gamma and Radiation grew, and the rulers of Sornieth decided these infected dragons were too dangerous to keep around. After all, no one knew about their properties, nor whether they were somehow dangerous. It had been decided that all of the Infected' would be extinguished to avoid any sort of hazard outbreak.

Gamma and Radiation managed to escape together through their great skill at cooperation. While on the run, they passed by Tali's lair. She listened to their story, decided to take them in and shelter them for the time being. Eventually science prove that the Infected' posed no threat, and the hunt for them was suspended. Gamma and Radiation could finally go outside again, in fact they were no longer quarantained and allowed to explore the world; They could finally begin the quest to find their parents!

Eventually they decided to stay with Tali's clan, whom had shown them kindness in time of need. They spend their days in the clan running errands for the clan's benefits all over Sornieth, in hopes of someday finding their parents along the way. They never lost their optimism and didn't know how to quit. They might not have found their parents yet, but they found a partner for life in eachother, which does give them a bit of a happily ever after that can only continue to grow better from here on out.

Name meaning: "Radiation is the process in which energy is emitted as particles or waves." She was named due to the relation of the word to radioactivity, as well as it being a wordplay on the name of her mate, so that together their names make "Gamma Radiation".
