History Many years ago now Monah was a respected warrior in a light clan whose home resided in ruins where their scholars could study day and night. However their peaceful existence was put to an end thinks to the monstrous Luminax the creature made short work of her home and clan-mates leaving only Monah alive, she had only narrowly escaped with minor physical injuries as she had fallen under rubble from the destroyed ruins some of which landing on her head knocking the spiral unconscious and hiding her presence as Luminax used her clan to try and fill it's endless hunger. When she finally awoke what was left of the ruins was silent not even the birds made noise she emerged homeless and without a clan. Monah still to this days suffers horrible nightmares of her clan-mates with the dark looming figure of Luminax closing in behind them, with her stuck in what was once a safe and welcoming home for her. She has never returned to the ruins or even the domain of the Lightweaver the haunting memories of her clan too much for her to bear. She became a wandering mercenary taking work wherever she could find it often trading her skill for battle for treasure, food or even just a place to stay for a few short weeks at a time. Eventually her travels took her as far as the Southern Icefields, where she discovered the less then welcoming Ice clans who were not to keen on a stranger from the Light element wandering their domain. None of the clans she tried striking up business with would even speak to her or even allow her to get very close to their lairs. She was in danger of freezing in the harsh wilderness as a winter storm was blowing in and night was quickly approaching she tried her best to find shelter in the pine trees of the tundra. She eventually passed out from the cold, hunger and exhaustion. She awoke in a small and dark yet warm den, that had been carved out of the frozen earth, their were shelves of preserves and tomes lining the walls with small lanterns and a cooking stove being the only dim light in the darkness. There she meet Iirik a strange looking spiral who at first glance seemed as dark and cold as the Southern Icefields themselves but he showed her kindness for he was also considered by the residence to be an outsider as he often would travel to the neighboring flights to trade and converse earning him a great variety of friends outside of his flight. They ate the warming stew he had prepared for her and ended up talking through the night finding they had a lot in common. days turned into weeks, turning then into months the two became fast friends and traveled together as Iirik made his routine visits to do business with the other clans. She soon found herself falling for him and after a few years she told him such to her surprise he felt the same and the two have been life long mates ever since still traveling together thou recently they have been spending a majority of their time with Vuldein and her clan. Monah hopes to put down roots and have a nest of hatch-lings with the protection Vuldein's warriors provide hopefully putting the nightmare of her past behind her for good. |

Information Personality // Level headed and good under pressure she is usually a very easy dragon to be around as she has a good since of humor as well as being well traveled she knows many stories to entertain her friends with. But because of her past there are times when the normally bright spiral isn't herself, normally these mood swings are after a bad dream about her former clan she does well hiding it from others but her mate Iirik always knows just at a glance and always seems to know how to help his mate out of the shadows her past casts on her. -- Likes //the snow ( as it reminds her of her mate), sweets, and hatch-lings (Hopefully her and Iirik have some of their own so she can spoil them ^^) -- Dislikes // Bitter food, arguing, and Thunderstorms Familiar // Caeli -- messenger/companion // Caeli was a gift from Iirik for when Monah can't join him on his travels to keep his mate company and to also carry messages between the two so they always can keep in touch no matter how far away her loving mate must go.  |
