--Tors grew up learning that someone's ability to stay alive is what made them a good fighter. Even if you withstand the most hits, have bled the most, as long as you remain standing after everyone else is gone, you have won and you are the champion. Tors was a fighter that did whatever he had to in order to survive, most of the time this meant fighting from a distance and being perceived as a coward. But he'd rather be an alive coward than a dead hero.

--He and Chuurik met when they were assigned to the same battalion. Chuurik was boisterous and gleaming. Tors was silent and calculating. Somehow, they managed to be friends. Tors blames the way fighting alongside someone tends to bond you to them. Even though he's done it with countless others, no one seemed to bother protecting Tors like Chuurik did. At first, Tors hated this, and tried to avoid the Imperial. Either through Chuurik' own stubbornness or something grander, they somehow were always back to back in a fight. Refusing a friendhsip so beneficial seemed pointless.

--While Chuurik was very much a more virtuous fighter, bleeding for a better tomorrow, Tors fought to stay alive. He fought for whoever had the better chance of winning. Sometimes, that put he and Chuurik on opposing sides. His stature is much slimmer than Chuurik. He was quicker but not stronger. One strike that was just powerful enough would fell him. And it took him longer to heal. Though, Chuurik never let Tors feel less than, they fought side by side and were forces of nature in their own right. Chuurik was always proud of him and Tors felt that despite their differing reasons for fighting and amount of physical strength.

--Tors' death wasn't surprising but how Chuurik, his brother, stayed by his side as he faded until he was struck down protecting him almost made Tors believe that untainted good in the world exitsed. He and Chuurik are companions for eternity now, just as it should be.
