Azett

With the death of his mate in the Spring of 2015, Azett has stepped down as the head of clan Askani, succeeded by his son Riker. The loss of their Queen, once considered to be blessed by the Plaguemother despite Azett's secular leanings, has tempered the spirits of those who consider themselves truly loyal to Plague.


Prewar::The mate of Queen Floette, Azett is the patriarch of Clan Askani. He isn't entirely comfortable with the position, and is grateful his Clan is still as small as it is. Nevertheless, much of the Clan's expansion has stemmed from Azett's rather un-Plaguelike willingness to take in those dragons they meet in the Wastes rather than leaving such intruders to the elements.

He is the father of twins Riker and Flabebe, as well as the Ghostheart prince Taintedclaw. His second litter was sacrificed during the Plague/Fire war at the insistance of his mate, as well as Lady Jashin.

His sash of plague, by comparison, is one of five emblems passed down to Clan Askani following the 2014 Riot. For all the excitement of the holiday, Azett treated the events of the holiday as a solemn occasion. The clan, created in the spring of the same year, is already beginning to find stability in whatever small part of the wasteland it could lay claim to.
