Etheliel

Esliel is the leader and self-appointed Alpha of the clan. Her personality is extremely cut-throat and brutal and she rarely expresses tender emotions. However, the safety of her clan is her top priority and she shows this in other ways. She struggles with kind words and soft gestures, but shows her affection through actions and keeping order. Whenever a fight or disagreement rears up in the ranks, she's the first one there to break it up and force everyone into a compromise...and if things get too heated, she's not against booting a troublemaker out of the clan entirely.



While most of her days are spent keeping order in the lair, she does sometimes go off alone and hide in her den...sometimes for days at a time. What she does, nobody but Bertoldt really knows. And even he doesn't know the full extent of her activities. While not much can be revealed about the details, it involves 'research' of the magical arts. Most of it she gives to Bertoldt to send to the Arcanist, but occasionally she keeps some things to herself.

It's clear to the rest of the clan, though, when she is researching for the Arcanist or researching for herself. When she returns from research for the Arcanist, she seems chipper and accomplished, throwing a huge mess of papers at Bertoldt to organize. However, when she is researching for herself, she always seems...jaded, and defeated.

Whatever it is she's looking for, she doesn't seem to be getting much closer to the answer.
