Playful and mischievous by nature, Merlot finds it hard to take anything seriously. This, for him, has its pros and cons. He is friendly and amiable but also immature and unable to take things seriously. This is why when told that his parents are unknown and he was found by a scavenging clan he wasn't sure how to handle himself. However to this day he still retains his carefree and excitable nature. Though he would deny it if he were questioned there are rumors off him joining his clan-mates to find unhatched eggs and even planning on stealing them away to raise them, though these rumors have not been proven and he still remains a bit of a mystery.
