Deshi

Deshi is an old friend of QuiTong's from back in their former clan. In fact, many would have said that the younger Deshi often followed her around like a lost puppy. Now he proudly watches over the hatchlings of the Jingang den while the rest of the adults sort out clan business.

In particular, he has become a sort of mentor to the male Skydancer of the first generation of hatchlings, Tadzea. As a hatchling, Tadzea displayed having difficulty getting along with the other hatchlings. All the others accept for Ai, the little female Pearlcathcer he was abandoned with.

Seeing this, Deshi took it upon himself to pay attention to Tadzea in particular. Over time they developed their mentor/protege relationship and Deshi has become very much like a second father to Tadzea.

Now they are often seen training or traversing the lands together in search of those who may need their help, and perhaps for more hatchlings or eggs in need of a loving home like the one Tadzea, Ai, and their siblings were lucky enough to be given.
