He's not a king.

He's never been made for this, and both him and his mate knew this - however, none of his clan mates share in the knowledge.

He's taken hours perfecting himself - perfecting his demeanor, his actions, his stone gaze almost as impenetrable as the shadows they command. He's almost perfect now - almost the perfect King, in all but his inner thoughts.

He is often seen perched upon his mate's limbs - her head, her wings. A crown of bones adorns his head as well as several steampunk additions to his natural look. The light on his tail never goes out, and is magically showing his mate the way if ever the shadows become too dense - both metaphorically and literally.

Despite his very...loud colors, no one does ever question him. He might be small, he might - if unbeknownst to them - be unsuited to rule.
But his magic is strong and the only one who can outdo his skill is the illusive Reena.

helping his mate find a Council. As soon as that is done, he suggests a trip that them both will take - his mate is reluctant, but they know it will serve them well.
They might just take a lucky advisor with them.
